Do you offer climate controlled units?
Each Your Extra Attic facility offers secure climate controlled storage units. Climate controlled units ensure that your environmentally sensitive items are protected against intense heat or cold temperatures. These units are ideal to store electronics, household items, wine, documents, wooden furniture, and other items that may be susceptible to weather damage.
Is climate controlled storage necessary in Marietta's climate? In a word — yes. Marietta, GA experiences hot, humid summers with temperatures regularly climbing into the 90s, combined with cold snaps in winter that can cause condensation and moisture buildup. That combination is hard on furniture, electronics, clothing, documents, artwork, and antiques. Climate controlled storage at Your Extra Attic maintains a consistent indoor temperature year-round, protecting your belongings from the warping, cracking, mold, and mildew that Georgia's weather can cause in a standard unit. If you're storing anything you care about, climate control isn't a luxury — it's the smart choice.

What's the difference between climate controlled and temperature controlled storage?

All of our units are interior and accessed from indoor hallways, adding an extra layer of protection compared to drive-up outdoor units.
